We're right behind Jimmy's Down the Street restaurant on Lakeside Avenue. Look for the flags and the giant Tour CDA bus — you'll see us.

Straight from Gary. We just added the punctuation.
A Rydable is what happens when someone looks at a scooter and says, "You know what this needs? More unicorn." These fun electric Rydables come in a variety of animals and let you cruise around town in a way that's guaranteed to make people smile, wave, and ask, "Where can I get one of those?"
Not at all! Before your tour begins, our guides will provide a quick orientation and have you practicing in a safe area. Most guests are comfortably cruising around within just a few minutes.
No experience necessary! Rydables are incredibly simple to operate. Just squeeze the lever to go and release it to stop. That's it! No complicated controls, no special skills, and no previous unicorn-riding experience required.
Drivers must be at least 12 years old. Got younger adventurers? Children under 12 can ride double with a parent and even help steer and operate the Rydable while sharing the ride. It's a family-friendly adventure that everyone can enjoy.
Absolutely. Our tours are fully guided, and we'll teach you everything you need to know before we head out. The Rydables are designed for easy operation, and our guides are there every step of the way to help ensure everyone has a fun, comfortable, and safe experience.
Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes, and dress appropriately for the weather. Bonus points if your outfit matches your unicorn, bison, cow, or whatever majestic creature you've chosen for your adventure.
You'll explore some of the area's most scenic and interesting sights while your guide shares fun stories, local history, and insider tips. Think sightseeing... but with significantly more unicorns.
Rydables can reach speeds of up to 8.5 mph. That's fast enough to feel the wind in your hair and slow enough to enjoy the scenery, wave at onlookers, and perfect your royal unicorn parade wave.
A little cloud cover won't stop the fun, but severe weather may require us to cancel or reschedule a tour for everyone's safety. If Mother Nature decides to throw a tantrum, you'll have the choice of rescheduling for another available date or receiving a full refund. We want your Rydables adventure to be memorable for the right reasons — not because you got caught in a monsoon while riding a unicorn.
You can, and you will. Our guides snap complimentary photos and videos throughout the tour — included at no extra charge. That means you can focus on having fun while we capture the evidence that you actually rode a unicorn through town.
The maximum total weight is 400 lbs combined for up to two riders. This allows plenty of room for sharing the experience while keeping the ride safe, smooth, and fun for everyone.
A Segway is a two-wheeled, self-balancing electric vehicle with a handlebar you steer by leaning. Step on, shift your weight forward to go, backward to stop. That's it. Within about 10 minutes of training, most people are gliding around like they've been doing it for years. It's much easier than it looks.
None whatsoever. Every tour starts with a full hands-on training session before anyone moves. Our guides don't let the group roll until every rider is comfortable and confident. We've trained first-timers ranging from 12-year-olds to 80-year-olds — and they all made it.
Riders must be at least 12 years old and weigh between 100 and 260 lbs. These are machine requirements, not our preferences — the Segway's self-balancing system needs to be within that range to work safely. Questions about a specific situation? Call us at (208) 550-3939 before you book.
It's the Segway tour that feeds you. Three and a half hours, eight riders max, multiple stops at local Coeur d' Alene restaurants. You ride, you eat, your guide tells you what happened in every building you pass. It's the most popular tour we run — and the one people talk about longest after they leave.
The Explore Coeur d' Alene Segway Tour runs 2 hours. The Taste of Coeur d' Alene Food Tour runs 3.5 hours — you need that time when you're stopping to eat. Both include the full training session before you roll.
Yes — every rider is connected to the guide through wireless headsets. You'll hear every story, every history drop, every "and this is the part nobody knows" moment. No straining to listen, no falling behind. The whole group is in on it.
Call us before you book. We have Rydables and e-bikes as well, and we can often figure out a way to keep a group together across different vehicle types. We'd rather talk it through ahead of time than have someone show up and be stuck.
Small bags and light backpacks are fine. Skip anything bulky or heavy — you need to be able to shift your weight freely to steer, and a giant backpack will fight you the whole time. Bring what fits in a day bag and leave the rest in your car.
Yes. Every Tour CDA guide lives here. Gary, Linda, RJ, Mark, Scott — they all live in Coeur d' Alene. They know the history, the shortcuts, the hidden spots, and which stories are worth stopping the whole group for. You won't get a script. You'll get someone who actually loves this city.
Light rain? We ride. Severe weather or lightning? We reschedule at no charge — you get to pick another available date or get a full refund. Call us at (208) 550-3939 if you have concerns day-of and we'll give you the honest read on conditions.
Yes. Every single one of them. Strangers will point. Cars will slow down and honk. People will stop you to take photos with them. This is going to happen and there is nothing you can do about it. Book anyway.
Book online or give us a call — we'll help you pick the right tour for your group and get you on the schedule.
